God's Saving Grace

Here's a poem that I wrote Last January 2009.

From the East to the West

My journey began as a quest

Wondering, my heart longs for a nest

Searching a home to find a rest.

...

From the Rising of the Sun to its Setting

My weary soul is thirsting, waiting

The depth of my being is crying, begging

To cease the pain, inside me haunting.

...

From the Highest Peak to the Deepest Place

I tried to find my own solace

I think, talked, walked, run in my own pace

To prove that I can win my own race.

...

From the all things Living to the Non-living

Why, I still can’t find what I’m missing?

Is it because I’m just dreaming?

Or because there’s no such thing as meaning?

...

From the Meanings to Questions Existing

Tears filled my soul; here I am surrendering.

I faced the ground contemplating

Then turned my head up high praying.

...

From the Winter Time to the Summer Days

Light dawns in my weeping human face

I found the peace that my soul can embrace

No other than from God’s Saving Grace.
